Workshop ArrangementsOn-site WorkshopsWe provide experienced workshop leaders, knowledgeable federal benefits consultants and expert guest speakers. We have designed workbooks for each of our workshops. In our Mid-Career Retirement Planning and our Pre-Retirement Planning Workshops, each participant will receive our 75-page Civil Service Benefits Workbook and a 30-page Social Security Benefits Workbook. We have also designed workbooks specifically for Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers, and Air Traffic Controllers. Participants in our FERS Benefits Workshops for New Employees and our Thrift Savings Plan Workshops will receive specially designed workbooks. Your agency provides the workshop space and equipment. We will schedule our workshops for the dates and times you request. Costs are based on a class size of 30 participants. Larger class sizes can be negotiated. On-site CounselingOur federal benefits consultants will provide one-on-one confidential counseling for your agency employees. Our consultants will meet individually with the employee to discuss their specific work history and how that relates to their federal benefits. Although we cannot provide legal advice, we can inform employees of their benefit choices and consequences. Your agency provides a private meeting space and schedules all appointments in advance. Costs are based on a minimum of one day of counseling. More days are available on request. Off-site WorkshopsPre-Retirement Planning is our only off-site workshop. This 3-day workshop is held at public facilities and is open to all federal employees. We provide experienced workshop leaders, federal benefits experts and expert guest speakers. Each participant receives our 70-page Civil Service Benefits Workbook and our 30-page Social Security Benefits Workbook. Costs are per person. Classes are limited to 30 participants to allow for individual attention. Sample workshop materials are provided upon request. Off-site CounselingWe offer one-on-one counseling to individual federal employees by phone, email, fax or in person. If you need more information, answers to your questions, explanations of certain benefits, a personal retirement benefit estimate, etc., we can help.
